Character Roles

Hider

The Hider is a sentient blob of goo whose objective is to collect goo from canisters dispersed throughout the house. It can morph into nearly any object, providing camouflage against the Seeker. The Hider also has defensive abilities to maintain its advantage if discovered. A short sprint allows the Hider to distance itself and transform into a new object for concealment. Additionally, it can vaporize a small portion of its mass to create a smoke screen, leaving a gelatinous residue on the Seeker’s visual sensors. When sufficient goo is collected, the Hider can assimilate the Seeker into its mass, effectively taking control. Failure to gather enough goo results in depletion of energy, allowing the Seeker to regain control of the house.

Seeker

The Seeker is a robot specifically designed to neutralize the Hider. Equipped with advanced technology, it uses a high-tech squirt gun to weaken the Hider’s goo until capture is possible. The Seeker can deploy a tracking grenade that reacts chemically on contact with the Hider, leaving a temporary trail for easier pursuit. Additionally, a hot-and-cold meter indicates the Hider’s proximity, supporting strategic tracking without relying on numerical data. The Seeker’s mission is to prevent the Hider from collecting enough goo or to capture it once it has been sufficiently weakened, ensuring order and security in the house.
