Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is a solid SRPG that brings back the series' signature humor and over-the-top battles. The story is quirky, the characters are memorable, and the gameplay has plenty of depth for fans of strategy games. If you enjoy tactical RPGs with lots of customization, this one delivers.

However, it may feel overwhelming for newcomers due to its complex mechanics and long campaign. The visuals are charming but not groundbreaking. Still, the charm and clever writing make it worth playing.
