Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! (2011)
Description
Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive!, released in 2011, allows players to design their own imaginative creatures, known as "formees," using the touch screen stylus. The game is designed to be accessible to players of all ages, as no drawing expertise is required. Young children can start with basic geometric shapes, while more experienced players can create complex and detailed characters.
Customizing Your Formees
Players can personalize their creatures by selecting colors, facial features such as eyes and mouths, and additional elements like wings or oversized legs. Wings enable the formee to fly, whereas large, bouncy legs allow it to hop throughout its environment. The combinations are virtually limitless, encouraging creativity and experimentation.
Bringing Formees to Life
Once a formee is created, it becomes an active character within the game world. Players can guide their creatures to explore their surroundings, gather food, and lay eggs. These eggs can be broken open to collect coins, which are used to purchase items or additional parts for further customization. Treasure boxes found in the environment can unlock the ability to redesign elements of the game world, such as changing the appearance of clouds from standard white to vibrant colors or patterns like purple with pink polka-dots or black and spiky designs.
Expanding the Game World
As players create more formées and images, the game world expands, revealing additional areas to explore. Unlockable shapes and parts, including wings, wheels, and engines, provide new ways to enhance characters. Accessories such as hats, ties, and other fun elements allow for further personalization, giving players the opportunity to develop highly unique creatures.
Sharing and Trading Formees
Freakyforms also includes interactive features for connecting with other players. Using the StreetPass™ feature, players can wirelessly exchange their formées. Additionally, each creature can be converted into a QR code, enabling players to trade and collect characters with friends or other players worldwide. This social interaction adds another layer of engagement and replayability.

The game became available on the Nintendo eShop on November 10, 2011, with a retail price of $6.99 in the United States. Players looking for more information or details about gameplay can visit the official game website at http://freakyforms.nintendo.com.
