Game Modes Explained
Classic
Players are divided into two teams with permanent death until the next round. Victory can be achieved in three ways: complete elimination of the enemy team, SWAT team rescuing all hostages, or terrorists successfully planting a bomb. The bomb’s presence allows a team to win even if all members are eliminated.
Team Death Match (TDM)
This mode splits players into two teams with non-permanent death. There is no defined winning condition; the focus is on accumulating points through combat. It is ideal for casual players seeking continuous action.
Zombie Mode
A random player begins as a zombie with 2000 HP and temporary rapid regeneration. The goal is to infect other players. Humans must eliminate all zombies to succeed.
Zombie Match
Similar to Team Death Match, this mode introduces zombies to both teams to assist in combat, adding strategic depth to the game.
Survival
All players act as SWAT members facing waves of zombies, NPC terrorists, and kamikazes. The objective is to survive as long as possible.
Death Match
Every participant fights individually with no teams. The last surviving player dominates the scoreboard.
Juggernaut
The host begins as the first Juggernaut, enjoying increased health and speed. Other players aim to defeat the Juggernaut, with the victor assuming the role in the next round.
Capture the Flag (CTF)
Two teams compete to capture the opposing team’s flag while defending their own. Strategy and coordination are essential for victory.

Our Verdict
If you're a fan of fast-paced FPS games and looking for something to dive into on your mobile device, Critical Missions: SWAT is definitely worth a try. This game brings the classic Counter-Strike-like experience right to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with smooth controls, tons of game modes, and a solid multiplayer experience. With cross-platform play, you’ll be battling players from all over, whether they’re on PC, Mac, or mobile. The variety of game modes—from Team Death Match to Zombie Mode—keeps things fresh and fun.
However, while the gameplay can be addictive, it’s not without its flaws. The game’s AI bots can sometimes feel a bit too predictable, and the touch controls, while customizable, might not satisfy hardcore FPS veterans used to more precise setups. Still, if you enjoy quick matches, customizable settings, and a mix of action-packed modes, Critical Missions: SWAT is a solid pick. It may not be groundbreaking, but it delivers plenty of entertainment on the go.
