Game Overview
In Cannon Siege™, players take on the role of the kingdom's final line of defense against relentless pirate marauders. The core objective is to protect your land by strategically using a variety of cannons to eliminate enemy ships. As you progress, players have the opportunity to expand their kingdom to new territories and sink invading ships into the sea.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game is designed in a retro style, combining elements of castle defense, action, strategy, and puzzle gameplay. It integrates both turn-based and real-time mechanics, offering a dynamic experience for players. Essential gameplay involves constructing armories and towers, defending your territory by firing at approaching ships, and repairing damaged units to maintain your defenses.
Armories and towers are connected via segmented roads. Only towers linked to an armory will be operational and able to fire. Players earn gold by destroying enemy ships, which can then be spent on upgrading existing defenses or purchasing special weapons to strengthen the kingdom’s protection.
Game Features (Version 1.1)
- Ten Campaign Stages, each with unique challenges.
- Survival Mode to test endurance against continuous attacks.
- A comprehensive tutorial to introduce new players to game mechanics.
- Automatic saving to prevent progress loss.
- Multiple player profiles supported for personalized gameplay.

Our Verdict
Verdict: No, We Do Not Recommend It
Cannon Siege (2009) attempts to blend action, strategy, and puzzle elements, but it falls short in several key areas. The game’s concept of defending a kingdom with cannons is appealing, but the outdated mechanics and clunky gameplay can quickly become frustrating. The lack of proper iOS8 support is a red flag, making it difficult to enjoy the experience on modern devices. While the retro graphics may have charm for some, they are not enough to make up for the game's repetitive nature and unpolished design.
Despite its potential, the gameplay feels stale, and the combination of turn-based and real-time mechanics is not well-executed. While there are upgrades and special weapons to use, the overall progression is slow and lacks excitement. Overall, if you are looking for a castle defense game with depth and variety, there are far better options available. Cannon Siege doesn't live up to expectations, and we can't recommend it.
