Description
Farpoint is an immersive virtual reality experience that places players on a distant, hostile alien planet. The game begins with a mission to retrieve scientists who are investigating a mysterious anomaly near Jupiter. During the operation, an unexpected rupture occurs, causing the transport and the research station to crash onto an uncharted extraterrestrial world. Once separated from the team, players must navigate the hazardous environment, using holographic logs scattered across the terrain to locate the missing scientists and find a route off the planet.
Explore a Dangerous Alien Environment
Players will encounter an unfamiliar landscape filled with various threats and obstacles. The alien planet presents a combination of environmental hazards and aggressive native creatures that challenge survival at every turn. As players traverse this world, they uncover the planet’s hidden secrets while confronting hostile life forms that are uniquely adapted to the alien ecosystem.
Intense Combat and Weapon Mastery

Players must skillfully switch between weapons and tactics to survive encounters with swarms of aggressive alien creatures while continuing their exploration.
Single-Player Campaign
Farpoint features a full-length single-player campaign, emphasizing exploration and survival on the alien world. Players must locate fellow scientists and collect critical information using holographic logs dispersed throughout the planet. The campaign challenges players to manage resources, adapt to hostile conditions, and navigate complex terrain while progressing toward escape.

Our Verdict
Farpoint is a solid pick if you love VR and sci-fi adventures. The alien world is tense and detailed, and the combat feels satisfying with a variety of weapons. The story is simple but keeps you moving and exploring, which works well in virtual reality.
Playing with a friend in co-op adds extra fun, though the game can be tough at times. Some players might feel motion sickness, so be cautious if you are sensitive. Overall, it delivers a good VR experience without overcomplicating things.
