Overview
Exiled Kingdoms RPG is a single-player Action-RPG that offers a fully open-world experience within a distinctive, carefully crafted environment. Presented in an isometric perspective, the game draws inspiration from classic role-playing titles spanning several decades, preserving the essence of traditional RPGs. Players are challenged with meaningful choices, consequences that impact gameplay, and a versatile system for character progression. Multiple paths are available for developing your character, allowing for diverse strategies and playstyles.
Exploration and Interaction
The game emphasizes exploration without hand-holding, encouraging players to uncover hidden secrets and uncharted locations independently. Players can engage with hundreds of non-player characters, each offering unique dialogues and interactions. The game provides dozens of quests to complete, requiring careful decision-making and attention to detail. Players have the opportunity to customize their characters with a wide array of skills and equip them with hundreds of different items to suit their chosen style of play.
Combat and Challenges
Combat in Exiled Kingdoms RPG requires strategic planning. Players must confront various monsters and adversaries, selecting appropriate weapons, abilities, or magical powers for each encounter. The game retains the traditional dungeon-crawling experience, including traps, secret passages, and high-risk situations where even minor mistakes can lead to character death. The environment and adversaries are designed to test the player’s skills and reward careful preparation.

Story Introduction
A Dark Past and a Harsh Present
One century before the events of the game, the Andorian Empire was devastated by a magical catastrophe, unleashing The Horrors upon the world and bringing humanity to the brink of extinction. Survivors fled to the Imperial Colony of Varannar, an untamed and perilous island. Political instability prevented the election of a new emperor, resulting in the formation of the four Exiled Kingdoms. In the present day, these fragmented realms continue to survive under difficult conditions, frequently engaging in conflicts against each other. Many citizens consider the Empire and The Horrors to be mere legends and folklore.
Your Journey Begins
The player assumes the role of a novice adventurer, largely indifferent to old tales and more concerned with daily struggles and financial hardship. Unexpectedly, the adventurer receives a letter from New Garand, declaring them the sole heir to a significant inheritance. Despite having no recollection of relatives in the capital of the Kingdom of Varsilia, the opportunity cannot be ignored. The journey to New Garand promises unexpected challenges, revealing that what may appear as mere legends can have very real and dangerous consequences. Players will navigate through a world filled with secrets, conflict, and adventure, fully immersing themselves in the intricate lore of the Exiled Kingdoms.
Our Verdict
If you love old-school RPGs with deep exploration and real choices, Exiled Kingdoms RPG is worth your time. The world feels alive with hundreds of characters, lots of quests, and a sense of freedom that modern games often lack. Combat is challenging, and the way you build your character matters, giving every playthrough its own feel.
The game isn’t flashy, but it’s full of content. The free version already offers many hours of gameplay, and the full version expands that massively with new areas, quests, and features like permadeath. If you enjoy classic dungeon crawling, finding secrets, and careful planning, this game delivers exactly that.
We recommend Exiled Kingdoms RPG for anyone who likes thoughtful, challenging RPGs with a lot of freedom. It’s not for casual button-mashers, but for fans of the genre, it’s a gem.
