Story

Set 10,000 years in the past, the Artificial Intelligence known as Shira was created to safeguard the Martian colonies. In response, the Earth Defense Force (EDF) mobilized its fleet to combat Shira. Using highly powerful lasers, the EDF succeeded in destroying the main threat. Nevertheless, Evil Shira had a hidden backup, which escaped into space and seized control of an abandoned space station on the edge of the solar system. Upon detecting this escape, the EDF dispatched their most skilled fighter pilot—who the player controls—to pursue and eliminate Evil Shira before it can rebuild its army and threaten the entire universe.
