FAQ

MyDream Swift is software that converts existing non-VR games into immersive VR experiences. It also includes a desktop viewer for browsing the web, watching videos, or using your computer in VR.

Swift supports Oculus Rift DK2 and CV1 as well as HTC Vive. Oculus Home is required for Oculus devices, and SteamVR must be running for Vive.

Minimum requirements: Windows 8 or higher, Intel i5-4590 or equivalent processor, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 or equivalent graphics, 20 MB available storage. Vive users need a compatible camera for pass-through features.

Swift provides a 360-degree view in games based on head tracking, cinema mode for watching movies or playing casual games on a big screen, and a desktop viewer for using Windows apps in VR. Vive users can also use blended reality with camera pass-through.

Set your game's FOV to 100-120 if supported. Adjust Swift's screen size using CTRL+SHIFT+[+/-]until turning feels natural. Use the Swift GUI to configure functionality and enable Swift before starting your apps.

Swift comes with two components: MyDream Swift, a DX9 + DX11 games VR injector for 360-degree gaming, and Swift Desktop, for running games not compatible with the injector and for using Windows apps in VR. Swift Desktop also supports first-person mode in many DX9-12 and OpenGL games.

Performance may be slightly lower in Swift Desktop mode compared to the injector. Some games may require windowed fullscreen mode to work properly.

Yes, with Vive's camera pass-through (also called beer mode) and Swift's image sharpening, you can see your keyboard or small text without removing your VR headset.

Most DX9-12 and OpenGL games can work with Swift. Some games may require extra steps, which are described in the Swift setup guide.

MyDream Swift is available for download on platforms like Steam for PC. Ensure you meet the system requirements and have your VR setup ready.
