Resfort (2017)

The events begin on a quiet autumn night when you and a small group of friends settle into your tents as a fading campfire glows outside. As darkness spreads across the forest and unsettling noises echo through the trees, you drift toward sleep. The moment you close your eyes, a sudden, piercing scream shatters the silence and forces you awake. Disturbed by the sound, you check the campsite only to discover that your friends have disappeared. Near their tent, you notice clear footprints heading deep into the forest. Despite the fear caused by the unknown environment, you must follow the trail and uncover the hidden truth surrounding this strange place.

Story Campaign

Progress through nine structured chapters, each designed to reveal new details and help you piece together the mysteries of the world. Every chapter expands the narrative and brings you closer to understanding what happened during that night.

Co-op Mode

A cooperative mode for up to four players is planned, allowing groups to create their own challenges and complete them together. Collaborative problem-solving will become an essential part of the experience once this mode is introduced.

Map Editor

The built-in editor provides tools for designing and shaping unique levels. It enables players to build environments, develop puzzles, and test various gameplay ideas. This feature allows full control over level creation and offers unlimited possibilities for experimentation.

Story Experience

The narrative aims to leave a lasting impression by gradually revealing the forest’s secrets and the circumstances surrounding your missing friends. Each discovery contributes to a deeper understanding of the world.

Workshop Support

Community features will include the ability to create, upload, share, and play levels made by other players. This system expands gameplay variety and allows anyone to explore user-generated content.

Achievements

The game includes goals related to uncovering hidden elements and secret areas. Completing all objectives requires careful exploration and attention to detail.

Visual Style

The graphical presentation uses surreal and abstract influences to build a distinctive atmosphere. The environment design adds to the sense of mystery and supports the overall tone of the adventure.

Core Gameplay

Resfort is primarily a platformer that demands navigation through a variety of obstacles. You will climb, crawl, jump, and run while adapting to environmental hazards. To survive, you must rely on every available option and use all tools or objects within reach as you progress deeper into the forest.
