Description
Tap Adventure: Time Travel is a role-playing clicker game set in the rich and detailed Patch World. Players guide a team of heroes through various environments, including dense forests, eerie swamps, sprawling jungles, glittering gold mines, frozen glaciers, and desolate wastelands. Each location presents unique challenges, as hostile creatures such as goblins, ogres, aggressive predators, and wild brownies threaten intruders. In addition, jungle regions are populated by aggressive native tribes and baboons, making combat essential for progression.
Character Classes
The game features seven core character classes, each with distinctive skills and development paths. Players can hire one hero per class: Warrior, Archer, Wise Man, Rogue, Savage, Magician, and Engineer. Each hero has a unique skill set, allowing players to customize their development according to individual playstyle preferences. Unlike many other clicker games, the focus is on a limited roster of heroes, which encourages strategic planning and thoughtful character progression.
Monsters and Epic Bosses
Patch World is inhabited by a wide variety of monsters and 30 powerful bosses. These epic bosses are rulers of their territories and significantly more challenging than standard enemies. Defeating them rewards players with valuable chests for upgrading heroes, runestones to craft powerful artifacts, and manacoins to be spent on Mimics. Every encounter with a boss requires strategic thinking and careful use of hero abilities.
Exploration of Diverse Worlds
Players can explore nine diverse worlds, each with its own visual style and unique inhabitants. These locations include a lively jungle, untamed forest, haunted swamp, grim graveyard, shadowy mines, icy mountains, majestic city, hazardous barrens, and mysterious crossroads. Each world presents distinct challenges and bosses, making exploration both strategic and visually engaging. The game’s environments are crafted with detailed graphics and spectacular effects, creating an immersive experience for players.
Rewards and Gameplay Features
Throughout the game, players earn gold, runestones, and special chests by defeating monsters and bosses. These rewards can be used to upgrade heroes, craft artifacts, and improve overall team strength. Additionally, players encounter living chests and gambling machines managed by the Governor, adding variety to gameplay. The game emphasizes continuous progression, strategic combat, and exploration of the expansive Patch World.
Additional Features
Tap Adventure: Time Travel also encourages players to explore Panoramik Inc.’s other games. These include Forge of Gods, a multiplayer card strategy RPG; Mighty Party, a chibi-style collectible card RPG; and Cargo Cult: Shoot’n’Loot VR, an action-packed VR shooter. Panoramik Inc., active since 2005, specializes in developing a broad range of games, from casual experiences to mid-core strategies, showcasing diverse gameplay mechanics and styles.
Summary
In summary, Tap Adventure: Time Travel combines the simplicity of clicker mechanics with strategic hero development, varied combat, and immersive exploration. Players can manage seven unique heroes, face 30 challenging bosses, and journey through nine visually distinct worlds, all while earning valuable rewards and interacting with dynamic in-game features. The game offers a structured and engaging RPG experience suitable for players who enjoy tactical planning, hero progression, and exploration of richly designed environments.
Our Verdict
Not recommended. Tap Adventure: Time Travel struggles to stand out in the crowded RPG clicker genre. While it offers a variety of heroes and skill choices, the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive and lacks meaningful progression. The colorful worlds and epic bosses are nice touches, but the lack of depth in combat and strategy leaves much to be desired.
If you're a fan of simple, casual clicker games and don't mind grinding through similar tasks over and over, you might enjoy it. However, for those looking for a more engaging and rewarding experience, this game falls short. There are better options out there that offer more innovation and challenge.
